When I bought the Music Store in July 1984, VanCurler Music had already
been in existence for many years. Following tradition, Schenectady VanCurler Music is a
family business: my daughter Rhoda and I own and operate the partnership together with a devoted staff of musicians. My husband Fred is our active silent partner. The store manager is guitarist Shawn Dawson. All of us working here share a love of music.
